Hong Kong Investors are flocking to the UK to invest? It is good to see investors from South East Asia, Middle East looking at investment in the UK again.

Hong Kong investors Look beyond London, looking beyond London yeah they are looking into Liverpool, they're looking at Manchester, looking into Birmingham you know. Interesting if we have a look at the exhibitions in Hong Kong in 2009 that's the black ones you'll see Australia you know stayed about the same, Canada stayed about the same, Japan a little bit less UK massive increase and we've seen that with the amount of you know our Hong Kong investors that are back buying again. That's a good thing because it's assisting the market it's supporting the market.

I don't think it's enough to drive prices up massively and certainly we haven't seen that you know we haven't seen in London prices jumping up or in Manchester or anywhere really. If you think about it you know people are talking about this mini boom but we're only talking about 5% to 7% percent depending on who you believe for the whole year, which actually is not a mini boom at all it's a good year, it's beating inflation it's doing all that which is great news.  

It's a very different market in Scotland, it's a smaller market. There's some fundamental changes namely oil and gas with all the issues there and that I know Aberdeen and a few of those places house prices have dropped considerably. So, it 

I think you know it's good to see that and  think we're seeing Singapore investors, Hong Kong investors, Malaysian investors, the Middle East is really for us has dropped off you know there's a lot of if anyone it's our clients who are coming back from there. So we're going to see what happens in the Middle East with their problems but I know their house prices geez wow they've been hit pretty hard. 

Liam just said I know you're in Singapore hard to travel so your business is hard to do with a pandemic on. Look the funny thing is my with my business I've been over here for eight years so I'm used to this and yes I used to travel and I love getting back to the UK you know we've got a home there it's great but the reality is that actually the business still does well, yeah, it is harder because I've got to be up later. Yesterday I did the webinar series. It starts at 1am you know and finishes about 2:30am and I get to bed about 3:30am you know so that's the hard bit if you like.
