One of the biggest mistakes many investors make is they get caught up in short-term market fluctuations and forget the importance of investment horizon. If you don't have a good plan, risk management strategy, and investment horizon, then it's pretty difficult to make money.
Hey guys. So that's amazing as you get to native cultures and go in various places, I'm just in here in one of the suits. So this is sort of traditional place Friday prayers right now. So nothing's open till this afternoon. But um, it's amazing chatting with the locals here in Kuwait. You know, so many countries in the Middle East and Asia, they focus on looking after their kids and actually getting their kids set up. And a lot of times when they speak to us, they're like, say, How old are your kids? And they're like, Oh, they're three, or four or five or 10, or, you know, they're quite young, and they're forward thinking. And it's one of the things I'm really impressed about Asian and Middle Eastern investors. Now, it's true for other people as well.
But you'll find that they have a lot longer time for investment horizon. And I think that's one of the key things about investment to it. Unfortunately, in the West, we focus on we want our returns now we want our returns in one year, two years, we expect it to perform straightaway. But the reality is that, you know, if you take a longer time horizon, actually, you can turn things around and do really, really well you can make amazing things. So I think that's really important. So yeah, guys, that's just changing time horizon. Focus on longer, you know, and really setting the foundations correctly, because that will set you up really, really well in the future.
