Increase your wealth: You either make money or make excuses, not both
You may have heard me say many times before that you are either rich and educated or poor and uneducated.
I say rich and educated, not because it's an either/or situation, as in you are either rich or you are educated, but because, in my experience, I have found that the rich are usually educated, and the poor uneducated so you can still increase your wealth.
Poor people are often the ones who don't have the education. Or, in a few cases, they have the education, but simply choose not to use it. These are the poor-and-educated-but-with-excuses people.
I remember very early on in my career hearing a saying that has stuck with me: you can either make money or make excuses, but not both. Very true with regards to property investment to increase your wealth.
Life rewards performance, not stagnation. If you are poor, you are poor for a reason, and most poor people have a great number of reasons as to why they are that way, which are exactly the excuses that will keep them poor.
The rich, on the other hand, are rich, because they have discovered the basic secrets (even though they are freely available and therefore not secrets at all) of wealth, and they apply them all the time, to gain themselves further wealth.
This is an unstoppable truth; the choice you have is this: will you be rich or poor, pitied or envied? Making excuses or making decisions? The excuse or decision is yours to make.
Please do not think that I am saying you need to be rich and wealthy to be happy. I have not said anything here about happiness; that is a totally different discussion. I am talking strictly about how to increase your wealth.
