Investment News - Recovery Special

Welcome to investment news, the first week of my '5 Week Recovery Special' where we'll be looking at what's being done and how (or if) it's working.

First up, we'll take a look at Northern Rock and I'll explain what I mean when I say they're the bank who are "first in and first out." We'll also be looking at why our mate Gordon Brown wants to ban 100% mortgages.

This week I'm also going to take you deep into the economics behind the current market situation. I'll take you behind the scenes of an economic recovery strategy called 'quantitative easing' and you'll learn how the US and the UK are using this trick to get you back on your feet.

We'll also take a trip back to school and discuss the forces of supply and demand and apply them to the question why aren't banks lending? and you can use this knowledge to your advantage...

Finally, I give you my thoughts for the week. There are still some awesome deals out there so be sure to take advantage of the ones that are left!

Happy viewing!

If you have any questions or want some help with planning for the what ifs then give the team a call on +44 (0)207 923 6100.

Live with passion,
Brett Alegre-Wood
