Rishi’s budget just made Birmingham 15% more attractive

UK Chancellor Rishi Sunak’s 2021 budget delivered a much-needed boost for the economy, which will result in sustained growth for the next decade. 

His plans to launch a new National Infrastructure Bank to finance schemes and play a part in helping the UK reach its net-zero carbon targets, will be established to boost investments, and accelerate progress to net-zero carbon to start a ‘green revolution’.

This will see major cities such as Birmingham grow by at least 15% in the next 5 years and even more after that, thanks to the Government’s plans to invest additional funding to opening new railways stations across Birmingham and the wider Midlands.

Birmingham has been a clear favourite for property investors for a while now and the fact that we are starting to move on from the Pandemic and return to a new normal, means that the City can now continue to grow from major projects, such as Snow Hill Wharf or the renovation of the Alexander Stadium.

So, with Brexit done and dusted, some positive news from the Government and a predicted recovery from the pandemic, if you were on the fence before, now is the time to invest in Birimingham property!
