Ashford Kent is home to what has been named 'UK Brewer of the Year' at the International Beer Challenge 2019, Curious Brewery. The Kent-based brewer, owned by Chapel Down, England’s leading wine producer, competed neck to neck alongside thousands of brewers across the nation to take home the award after being judged by a panel of 70 industry experts including brewers, journalists, retailers and flavour experts. Ashton Kent Leisure scene has definitely reached a milestone with the achievement of this small business that garnered international recognition.
Curious Brewing also won Gold in the Lager Taste Category for its flagship premium lager Curious Brew at the World Beer Awards 2019.
