Should I stay away from Investing in the North?

You can invest anywhere, the key is to always look for the best fundamentals. There is no point to buy because its cheap. As I always say don't buy cheap buy fundamentals.

The North seems to be going back into lockdown should I stay away from property up there? No not because of Covid, okay now I will explain my thinking and this is you've probably heard this many times you've been watching the channel. Major cities are where the investment is going too.

It's a very different market in Scotland, it's a smaller market. There's some fundamental changes namely oil and gas with all the issues there and that I know Aberdeen and a few of those places house prices have dropped considerably. So, it depends on how that's reacted.

I don't care about people saying we're moving out in the suburbs no that's not good enough because people need jobs and where are the jobs in the city. So if they're moving out it'll be the transport links it'll be the commuter belts for that major city so for me up North great if that's what you can afford in the cities and around the cities in the commuter towns. Otherwise, if it's just in the middle of nowhere and it's cheap don't buy cheap buy fundamentals. That is the key for me you know you know don't buy cheap buy fundamentals!
